Data Visualization 

Course and Instructor: Foundations of Geography, Dr. Ezra Zeitler

Description: This assignment involved research into a particular topic and how it could relate to tourism in Wisconsin. After collecting and analyzing data on our topic/inquiry, we were tasked with creating an infographic (using Adobe Illustrator) that featured data visualization and synthesization, as well as a written component. 

Reflection: I chose to do research on DUI occurrences by county in Wisconsin to compare to data on tourism spending to see if there was any correlation. I know that many areas of Wisconsin are known for their iconic breweries, and felt that there might be a story to tell. The results of my research were largely inconclusive. Given more time, I'd like to continue my research by looking into specific counties and analyzing the types of tourism and local resources and policy.
